During the past few years, each of the 4 preceeding Sundays prior to Christmas come with a special Christmas Candle to light. Children from the church read appropriate Bible Verses, and then light the candles (electric!) On the Sunday before Christmas, there is a special children's Nativity where the children dress up and reinact the birth of Jesus. This Christmas Eve we also enjoyed special readings by various individuals, as well as special music (thanks Fern on the dulcimer!) as well as the Praise Team bringing both traditional and modern Christmas praise. This year we also featured a special photo booth as well as a time of hot drinks before the service began.
