On Friday, Sept. 22, 2017 we held our fall movie outreach. Around 25 came out to the chapel to enjoy and be challenged as we saw the hard nosed investigative crime reporter face one of his greatest challenges of his life. Lee Strobel had witnessed the life changing alteration when his wife accepted Christ, and was, as an atheist, puzzled that 'religion' could change a person so greatly. Lee Strobel decided to apply the same techniques to solving crime as to investigating the claims of Jesus. Did He exist? Did He really die? Did the disciples hide the body? Did He raise from the dead, or was this merely a mass hallucination? As we followed Lee on this journey, the movie did an excellent job of protraying his family and the conflicts that this new found faith in his wife brought to their home. Following the movie, a draw was held, and Ruth B. was the winner...of what else....'A dvd copy of the movie..Case for Christ." If you are an honest sceptic, this is one movie you need to see!
