On Sunday, Nov. 20th, the BFA family gathered to celebrate two events...the collection of over sixty boxes for the Christmas Shoebox Campaign and Mrs. D's 90th birthday. We pause to praise, thanked God and pray, as we sent out the shoeboxes, many of which were filled by the children from our BFA Kidz Klub. We also took a special turn during our regular Bring and Share to honour Mrs. D who has faithfully been serving God at 90 years. Several of the fellowship took turns thanking and praising God for the excellent example that she has set for her constant joy, and faithful service to Jesus. A special cake was presented for cutting, along with a gift and roses for the occasion. Cards were read and enjoyed, and all were grateful for the one who "continues to learn even at 90, and who has set a high bar for us all to follow, as well as the one who has taught us well on what it means to love Jesus." It was a wonderful time; which we trust brought joy to all, including  those of Mrs. D's immediate who were present to witness this moment.
