On June 13^th, 2013 over seventy at Bible Fellowship Assembly were treated to a wonderful contemporary music concert.

The evening began with “We are Israel,” a solid 'rap' group. This groups amazing lyrics and “Holy Hip Hop” music had hands clapping and ears listening. With a delightful blend of scripture truths, and powerful poetic rhyme and rhythm, Brandon Peever, James Hagger and Julia Mathew brought the gospel into the rap world this evening. The Hearing styled their music as 'Indie rock'. Hailing from Quebec City, this band drove all night from their concert venue in Jolliet, to arrive around noon. Jon Rash did most of the lead vocals and with his keyboard and own lyrics, brought a new appreciation for this contemporary music. He shared “Glorious” in French and then taught our audience the praise worship song: “Ten Thousand Reasons”. Following this, we were treated to the distinctive and wonderful sound of the Hearing. Eva Morea played a mean set on the drums, and was regularly dishing out back up vocals and harmony. Elizabeth Caron had the bass notes cold. Jean-Philippe Rheaume added backup and lead guitar; while Thomas Fortier Jones complimented the arrangements with his styling of cords. The Hearing received a standing ovation for their amazing music. Following the concert; several Free Bibles were accepted by the audience. Our prayers and blessings go with this band!
