This fine cold day in January became another wonderful day of praise. Following our time of sharing and worship at the Breaking of Bread, a young sister in Christ was baptized. Her reading of the verses which convinced her of faith, and her bold statement affirming faith in her Saviour and Lord, Jesus was a delight for all to behold. New Praise led the congregation in worship during the Family Bible Hour. Steve O gave a wonderful Bible lesson called “A kingdom torn in two”. Following this, we all enjoyed a time of fellowship as we gathered in the fellowship Hall for a bring and share luncheon. During this time we surprised Chester D, who had turned 91 this past week. As we sang "Happy Birthday" it was with a sincere prayer and blessing that we will enjoy many more of these celebrations! What a blessing to enjoy this time together!
